 Statement of Faith for GRACEd

We believe the Bible is God’s written revelation to man, inspired by the Holy Spirit, absolutely inerrant and complete in the original documents, and a sufficient authoritative standard for our lives. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Hebrews 4:12)

We believe that there is one and only one Living and true God, infinite, all-knowing, perfect in all His attributes, one in essence, eternally existing in three Persons – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - equal in nature but differing in function. (1 Corinthians 8:6; John 14:16-17; Matthew 28:19; Hebrews 9:14; John 14:26; Genesis 1:1; John 16:3-11; John 1:1-2)

We believe that salvation is only through Christ, by God’s grace. (John 14:6; Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ as the sinless, virgin-born Son of God who died on the cross, was buried, and resurrected as the atonement for our sins. (Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 53:4-5; Hebrews 7:26; Hebrews 9:14; Romans 3:24-25; I Corinthians 15:3-4)

The need for such a statement was brought to our attention through The Christian Homeschool by Gregg Harris. It is our hope that this statement spells out our Christian beliefs clearly without being either too inclusive or too exclusive, as our members belong to various denominations.

To ensure that we remain a Christian homeschool group and to avoid any future difficulties, each member is asked to affirm this by signing a copy of the statement of faith as well as the email guidelines.  Membership to GRACEducators must be approved by the moderator.  Registration is ongoing so families may join throughout the year. If you are interested in joining and are able to sign such a statment of faith, there are two steps. 1. Please complete the secure GRACEducators membership forms. (The forms should pop up and you can sign with a mouse) 2. Head over to the https://groups.io/g/graceducators to join the email loop. (You can choose to receive emails one at a time or as a daily digest.) The information will be submitted to the leadership team. If you have any trouble or if you'd prefer to snail mail your forms, you may email us.
